About the product

Are they heat resistant?

No, these gardening gloves are not heat-resistant. Should you have more questions, let us know at wecare@nocry.com. We would be happy to assist you.

Can I use them with handling blackberry bushes and thorny plants?

These gardening gloves are puncture resistant, but not puncture proof. This means that there is a possibility that some thorns can still get through the leather. Should you have more questions, send us a message at wecare@nocry.com.

Are they water resistant?

No, they are not. As the material is made from goat leather, water removes the natural oils in the leather. Should you have more questions, let us know at wecare@nocry.com. We would be happy to assist you.

Are they stretchable?

They might stretch a bit, but we would suggest getting the gloves that are just the right size from our size chart. If it happens that they are too big or too small, send us a message at wecare@nocry.com and we will assist you further.

Can the gloves withstand puncture from barbed wires?

While these leather gardening gloves are puncture resistant, that doesn’t mean that they are puncture proof. So there is a possibility that barbed wire can get through the leather. Should you have more questions, send us a message at wecare@nocry.com.

Are they washable?

Use a dry suede brush to remove dust and dirt from your gloves. If they need a deep clean, wash them with a ph-neutral soap and lukewarm water and drip dry. Don’t forget to condition them with leather conditioner — this will preserve the natural oils and help your gloves last. Should you have more questions, reach out to us directly.

Unsuitable for prickly situations

Unfortunately, the gloves only have reinforced fingertips and not below, leaving hands and fingers vulnerable to thorns and potential injury.

Top choice gloves for gardening, landscaping, and dealing with prickly plants

For the past couple of years, we've been loyal fans of NoCry thorn resistant gloves and will definitely be purchasing more in the future. We've tested out a few different brands, but these gloves are top-notch when it comes to handling prickly vines and shrubs while working in the garden or landscaping. The durability of these gloves is impressive. We especially appreciate the various sleeve lengths available, which are just right for our needs. On top of that, NoCry's customer service is quick to respond and helpful. We wholeheartedly suggest giving them a shot.

Too skinny...for the fire!

Overall, this glove is pretty good! The fit, construction, feel, and cuff are all fine...but when it comes to adding wood to the embers...it's too thin!

Delightful

I haven't had the chance to test these gloves in the garden yet, but I have put them through their paces during woodwork projects. Even after hours of wear, the gloves remain incredibly comfortable on my hands. The grip is excellent and the long cuffs provide great protection for my arms. Despite handling rough wood, my hands and arms were well shielded. The climate inside the gloves remains pleasant even after wearing them all day. If they ever wear out, I will definitely purchase them again.

Shielding your hands during gardening

I decided to purchase these gloves after spending hours pulling yellow-star thistles in my regular leather gardening gloves. The difference was like night and day - I went from feeling miserable to happy in an instant. I loved them so much that I ended up buying five pairs in total: three for myself and two to gift to friends.
