I purchased this knee pad for my wife, who has a disability, to use as a cushion on her shower chair. The chair is made of hard plastic and was causing her discomfort when trying to sit down to shower. The knee pad is soft and effective in providing the comfort she needs.

As someone on the larger side with knee issues, I can't handle hard surfaces without a cushioned pad. This one has been a game-changer for me, allowing me to work without any discomfort.

Having experimented with a different brand of "high density" foam that proved to be uncomfortably firm, we decided to give this one a shot. Despite also being categorized as high density, it is surprisingly softer to the touch. It maintains its shape well over time. One side provides ample support for use on hard surfaces, while the other side remains cushioned enough for kneeling or sitting. We were so impressed that we utilized the "Buy Again" feature to order more for our friends.
